Description

Join us for an exclusive evening with world-renowned presidential historian, public speaker, and Pulitzer Prize-winning, New York Times #1 best selling author Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Her eighth book, An Unfinished Love Story: A Personal History of the 1960s, was published in April 2024. This voyage of remembrance of her life with her late husband, Dick Goodwin, results in unexpected discoveries and the renewal of old dreams, reviving the hope that the youth of today will carry forward this unfinished love story with America.

The evening features a cocktail reception and dinner, followed by “A Conversation with Doris Kearns Goodwin” led by Megan Wood, Executive Director and CEO of the Ohio History Connection, and followed by a Q&A session.

This special event is presented by the Capitol Square Foundation in partnership with the Women’s Suffrage Monument Commission. All proceeds from this event will support the Women’s Suffrage Monument, to be installed on the Ohio Statehouse Grounds.

This is a ticketed event.
