Jeanine Perry served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999-2006. She received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Toledo.
Prior to her service as a state legislator, Perry was a member of the Toledo City Council from 1992-1998. When she left the House in 2006, she was elected the Lucas County Recorder, overseeing the indexing, recording, and maintaining of land records in all of Lucas County. She is the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award, Toledo PTA Public Schools; 1999 Legislator of the Year, Point Place Business Association; and the 2000 Ohio Hunger Heroine Award. Perry is a life member of the Toledo Alumni Association, the PTA/Toledo Public Schools, the Ohio Farm Bureau, and a charter member of the Cancer Caucus.
