State Representative Marlene Anielski represented the 17th and also the 6th House District, which includes a portion of Cuyahoga County.
Having grown up in northeastern Ohio, Representative Anielski is the former mayor of Walton Hills. She has served as Mayor/Safety Director for over ten years. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron. She also received her certification as an Ohio Certified Public Manager from Cleveland State University.
Representative Anielski has actively participated in numerous national, state and community organizations. The groups included a steering committee member of the Small Communities Council of the National League of Cities, a steering committee member of the Mayors¿ and Municipalities Automotive Coalition (MMAC), Chambers of Commerce and Junior Achievement volunteer.
